Transit Project Assessment Process

City staff have begun a Transit Project Assessment Process (TPAP) for the Dundas Corridor. This will help to develop the technical concept design of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system. As part of this process an Environmental Assessment (EA) will also be completed for provincial approval.

The TPAP sets the stage for the implementation of the Dundas Connects Master Plan. It provides the basis for the BRT design which will be detailed as the work progresses. Once the TPAP is complete and approved, the project can then proceed with full implementation and eventual construction of the transit line.
